Oh, thank you! I think it's something Bodie would worry about - despite his own record with women - because I imagine him as slow (and actually reluctant) to really fall for someone but very committed when he does, whereas he thinks Ray might be quick to fall in and out of love. But what he doesn't know is that Ray has only been looking for the perfect partner - in him, of course! As you say, we all know that this is it for them - each of them is ultimately what the other needs, despite all their differences and mates-type rivalry. Oops, I seem to be havering on again ...
