In keeping with the Christmas party theme begun by [livejournal.com profile] myrebelcat, I thought it would be fun to have another game. Your challenge is to write a caption for this picture. Or you can just sit back and enjoy the view.

And now for something completely different! Here are a few stocking stuffers for all you good little CI5 agents.

1. 2. 3.

Merry Christmas!

"'It'll be fun,' you said. 'What's the worst that could happen?' you said."

"It's not my fault, Ray. How was I to know that Father Christmas would object to lube all over the seat of his sleigh?"

"Shaddup and keep walking."

"Bo-die! You said we'd holiday in Brighton. Had a couple rooms booked in a nice little inn, you said, and a pair of buxom willing barmaids expecting us. How did we end up stranded in Colorado?"

"Got turned around, didn't I? Ey... Isn't that John Denver? Wonder if he'll give us a lift?"

"He's got a giant green frog with him, Bodie. And... And, dear God, I think it's talking!"

"It's the pig you've got to watch out for."

Heh - nice pic! Very inspirational! And I especially love that middle icon. Exploding Christmas tree ornaments, hee!

"Is this the Outer Hebrides?"

Thanks! Lovely photo and Christmassy icons! I like the "Naughty and Nice" one--either can apply to either! ;-)

D: I'm telling you, there's a pub right around the next corner ...
B: You'd better be right - I'm pissed off with speedskating uphill

Thanks for the fun. I like naughty and nice best ... a perfect summation!

My brain's too clogged with research proposals to think of a spur-of-the-moment caption, but I'll give it some thought! Love the picture, anyway, of course - more snow and more lads. What more could I ask? Bet Bodie's hands are cold.

And the icons are great - especially the middle one which is exactly what I'll be doing the weekend after next as I grovel on the floor trying to puzzle out the stupid container we put the tree in, while tying myself in knots to hold the tree upright with one hand while I do it. I can just feel those branches digging into their heads as they scramble around underneath in pursuit of the haunted bauble. Although I expect they're really down there for a far more, um, interesting reason *g* Reminds me of Ringing in the Changes, actually.

Thank you!

"If a reindeer follows us home can we keep it Ray? Please, please. Can we? Ray. Ray. Can we? Please Ray! Please. Please. Huh. Huh. Can we? Ray? Ray?"

"Ray did you have to book the beer slogan quest tour during the off season? An icy cold 'Coors, Brewed with Pure Rocky Mountain Spring Water or Busch Beer, Head for the mountains' would go down much better in the summer. I'm just sayin'."

"Ray? Are we there yet?"

Lovely festive icon!

Scary. You sure you haven't been inside my hard drive to look at my Christmas fic?

Wait and see, but yeah. Scary.

And for that, I shall infect you with the 'High on a hill' virus I'm trying to pass along.

The manip is really well done! And, frankly, I like it captionless (a nice quiet stroll in the snow...) Can't think of anything clever to caption it with. :-)

*Love* icon #2! Really well done!

Fantastic! What I first picked up in the picture is the 'snow' on the lads shoes ... Can't think of a caption, the ones already here are brilliant. The scene reminds me of Heroes, when Doyle is trying to discover who Tin Can was working for ... not North Pole, north of England.

Icon 1 is my favourite.

This challenge is so much fun.

Adding to my previous post ...

Going to find Tin Can. You did say he was in the North, North Pole maybe?

I absolutely, uselessly couldn't think of a thing, plus I was giggling too hard at the captions everyone else has suggested - especially that one by Brenk, who is a bad woman. (Yod-el-ay-ee-hoo)

This was a brilliant idea - thank you! And for the icons too, I've been wanting Pros Christmas ones too *g*

First thing I observed were the snow on B&D's shoes, what a nice little detail and a lovely pic.

And as I'm just enjoying the view and laugh about what others have to say about the pic I'll take icon naughty and nice - Thanks :)

Ray: "It's just around the next corner."
Bodie: "You said that three miles back."
Ray: "But... I recognise those trees."
Bodie: "You said that as well, mate. You and your bloody cars. The Cow, won't be impressed, my son."
Ray: " The Cow, won't bloody find out."
Bodie: "Ah, well, I'll need some gentle persuasion then, won't I."
Ray: "Well, you'll need warming up."
Bodie: "Oh yeah. And just what do you have in mind?"
Ray: "You'll see."
Bodie rubs his hands together and not just to warm them, and jogs to catch up.

I love #2 brilliant. and #3 which one is naughty and which one is nice? :)

Thanks for these, hon.
I know you said caption... I just got carried away...lol
