I know I did abysmally, but I just wanted to thank noblesentiments for such a great challenge. It was well thought out and very entertaining, with some brillant quotes. Oh and to thank you for a day off too.
Basically, when I was sure I had an answer. I would go check... and well then I would get into the story and I have got absolutely nothing done today. [well, we are all entitled to a day off, aren't we.] ;)

Thanks!!

Thanks so much! The idea and hard work was done by the people running this show, I just had the pleasure of looking through the stories and it *was* a pleasure.

Thanks again.

Sorry! but this is what we feared and tried to take into account......and thought 9 might be a good time for the 'reveal'? And I think it was also tied in with the rest of the world's time clocks (I can't get more technical than that, but please *believe* me it's out there....the rest of the world, that is).

And I bet you knew a lot.

I know, and I wasnt *really* moaning, just good natured grumbling :-))

Great idea though! When I get a bit more time I shall try and go through them to myself and see what I would have got.

If you do have a bit of time I think you might surprise yourself and know a lot of them. Mind you, I'm always assuming everyone likes the same stories that *I* like! Anyway, enjoy and thanks for your contribution.

What scares me is that I haven't read any Pros fic regularly in 5 years, and yet I could recognize so many of those :D (not all woth titles/authors but enough to feel the love of Pros still beating strong :D)

Great challenge idea! :)

Yes, there's plenty to love in both the older, more classical Pros writers and the more 'up and coming' ones, isn't there? In fact, I think there's a *lot* of wonderful talent in this fandom of which I'm very proud.

Many thanks for dropping by.

I don't know where else to post this but Sharon Fetter's 'One Heart' is up at The Circuit Archive under Anonymous 1 (as are her other stories). Thanks.

Thanks for this--it was great fun! (Admittedly, of the headache-producing variety while I tried to make my brain function and remember the bloody title because I've read this!!)

I was pleased to see all my answers (a paltry 11) were right, and appalled at how much I have obviously forgotten! Gah!

Thanks!

Yes, it was fun wasn't it? If you enjoyed it half as much as I enjoyed deciding on *which* quotes to use (I found it hard deciding which story and which favourite quote, there are so many) then that's good.

And thanks so much for telling us that you enjoyed it, that means a lot.

Yes, somehow I didn't manage to get to the list either until late today what with rl, concerts, meetings and work getting in the way but still enjoyed reading the wonderful quotes, recognising far too many of them (!) thus demonstrating how much time I manage to have spent reading over the last year or two! And there were a few tantalising ones I shall just have to look up!! And a few I remembered and added to the re-read list and....
Maybe I'll just save the list and work my way through them all again over the holiday!
Thanks for a wonderful challenge - something else different and new. What a bumper Advent Calendar this is - the high point of the day for me these days!
Happy Christmas!

Well, that just about sums up how I feel - when I find a story I love I want to spread that knowledge, share it with everyone else and say isn't this a fantastic read?

Yes, the whole Advent Calendar has been a great idea, hasn't it? And I think Bylantedlight and empty mirrors have surpassed themselves and all their hard work has really paid off.

Thanks Rosie, and a Happy Christmas to you, too.

I knew only a handful of these, though I've read about 2/3 of them. I am definitely going to reread many of these. What fun! And I agree that the quotes were brilliant.

Thank you *so* much! I'm really pleased you enjoyed the quotes. And it reminded me (not that I needed reminding) how much wonderful writing there is in the fandom of Pros.

Many thanks for commenting and letting me know.

Thanks Noble Sentiments for the quiz and such a great rec list!

Hi there! I'd say 11 is pretty good and more than I'd get (terrible memory I have).

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for commenting.

I printed out the list of answers and now will work my way through the stories. I do love being reminded of stories I previously enjoyed. I love recommendations and reviews. Spoilers don't bother me a bit. Thanks to the ladies who are doing such a great job of helping us enjoy the lead up to Christmas.

For me, that's what it's all about - it's very satisfying if people can rediscover old favourites, stories they'd long forgotten.

Thanks to the ladies who are doing such a great job of helping us enjoy the lead up to Christmas.

I second that. A helluva lot of work must have gone into the creation of this calendar.
