Ah! Finished. Never thought I would finish this one. This is one WIP that can now be struck off the list! Just a triple drabble.

Penpusher

Doyle tightens his fingers around the barrel of his pen and pushes the nib across the page, signing his name in an untidy sprawl. Bodie is here somewhere; probably chatting up one of the secretaries while Doyle does all the work. In irritation he shoves his report to one side and is rewarded with a crash as an unnoticed mug of cold tea, likely courtesy of his partner, crashes to the floor and breaks, tea spilling across the floor.

Doyle swears, picking up the shards of broken pottery and throwing them away. There are far too many days like this.

Gunslinger

Doyle tightens his fingers around the handgrip of his gun and pushes the warehouse door open silently, peering round into the darkness of the room. Bodie is here somewhere, as silently stalking their mark. In shock he recognises the two figures in the centre of the room, tussling for Bodie's gun. He shoots and is rewarded with a scream as the mark falls, but his partner collapses as well, blood already spilling across the floor.

Doyle swears, running hard to press his hand against the bleeding wound before reaching for his RT. There are far too many days like this.

...

Doyle tightens his fingers around the cock bobbing in front of his face and pushes his mouth further down the shaft, tip hitting the back of his throat. Bodie is here, writhing beneath him, his fingernails lightly scratching at his back. In satisfaction Doyle executes a complicated manoeuvre with his tongue that he knows drives Bodie wild and is rewarded with a groan and a curse, before Bodie stiffens, his partner's orgasm spilling down Doyle's throat.

Doyle swears as Bodie reciprocates; a hot, wet mouth enveloping him and drawing out his own orgasm. There are never enough days like this.

End

What a great response to that prompt. *g*

The repetition of lines really enforces the routine nature of their lives both the paperwork and the action and really set us up nicely for that last scene.

Thanks, Petal.♥
