I didn't think I'd get this finished, and it's not what I imagined it was going to be, but... it is finished, so yeay. I've had to pdf it for the formatting I'm afraid, cos html won't let me indent, but... if you'd like to, here's a little something to huddle up with in bed tonight, wind and rain rattling your house, the clouds rushing past... *g*

Oh, no fair! I want to know what happens next.

What a spooky, little tale. Very well done!

Now that's what I call a Halloween story! :D
Loved your descriptions, and with them you've managed to create such a terrific atmosphere. The whole story seems charged with it, like the electricity laden air in the story itself. Very well done.

You did get it done--yay! And a spooky story it is, too--very atmospheric and gripping. Thanks!

EEeee!
I'm glad the sun is shining and it's not windy!
What a twist at the end!
Was thinking back to the ghost stories from Berry Pomeroy. :)

I'm sorry to interrupt this conversation, but I had to interject with a squeeee - Berry Pomeroy Castle is my favourite place in the whole wide world. If you were to take the lads there in a fic and, er, scare the pants of them, that would be soooo cool! Do it do it do it.

I've resisted reading all day until now!

Where is that ambulance...?! Very chilling indeed, thank you.

Oo-er, that fic actually genuinely scared me. In fact, I personally spent most of that fic standing very nervously in the corner, wanting to get the hell out of that building as soon as possible! So yeah, good job. :D Glad that book proved to be so inspiring. :D

Very chilling and atmospheric! And nicely interwoven with a glimpse of Doyle's childhood, thank you!
