You told me once to be honest... I like your drawing of the eyes, the noses, the mouths, the clothes very much. I have a problem with Bodie's face on the whole. For me it looks a little bit like a botox-face, if you know what I mean. I don't feel enough life in it, or he looks too young. The Doyle face - my first thought was "I don't like him like that". Afterwards I remembered episode pics where I didn't like much how he is looking. So I think you had a pic which I wouldn't prefer and you made a perfect Doyle-drawing *g*. Yes I did and I'm glad you are babe *g* Your comment cracked me up this morning, I had to giggle so hard - not that I don't take it seriously, it's just I had "Botox-Bodie" stuck in my head all day at work. What a nice alliteration *bg*

I know I didn't quite catch the likeness here. Although considering I only needed a day for this as opposed to my usual two to three weeks, I'm actually very content with the outcome. But I'll keep practicing, you know I will.

Not perfect, but aside from that I agree, Doyle doesn't look his best in the photograph. But since I'm a BB I don't always pay attention to that ;)

Don't give up hope, one day I'll draw a Doyle you'll like and I shall dedicate it to ya *g*

I'm currently trying to reduce drawing time (so I can have more output - hey, at least that's the plan), and if I look at the time invested/outcome relation I really can't complain.

Yes, it does! *g* It doesn't really look very cheerful or Christmassy, but it was a good practice piece - poor Doyle, I always mess him up. Somehow Bodie is easier to draw.
