Ahh, I've just spent a very nice bit of time on Boxing Day reading this! Thank you all! Oh, gosh, how do I comment properly? Everyone needs a proper comment... Right, maybe a bunch of "replies" to this. *g* So, first, lovely Christmas read, everyone! Thank you!

Right, so, who is first? [livejournal.com profile] angel_ci5!

Aww, hospital scenes are amongst my favorites! Um. That sounds a bit dodgy, doesn't it? *g* But you know what I mean! Lovely bit of interchange between the lads there. Thank you!

Oh, and the other one! Break our hearts, why don't you? *g* But it will come right, eventually. Thank you!

Next up, [livejournal.com profile] foxcat74!

Ooh, nice scene in "Dog Eat Dog" between Bodie and Doyle. Lovely tension after a terrible op, while they're trying to get back to normal. And I love it that it's Bodie's sign of defeat that pulls Doyle out of it, and then they go off together, as they need to do. Thank you!

Next...ah, [livejournal.com profile] jaycat92!

Be great, wouldn’t it? One day, you and me – find a boat like this to live on?"
Oh, yes, please! *g* I like the way they come together here, and how that line eliminates Doyle's doubts. Plus, you know, the idea of the two of them on a barge.... Lovely. *g*

[profile] greengerbilgorgeous photos-turned-to-drawings! I particularly like the first one--well, I would, wouldn't I? The lads together! *g* But they are both wonderful. Thank you!

Ah, and the third one, too! *g* (Yes, well, I'm going back and forth here, and it's complicated. *g*)

[livejournal.com profile] byslantedlight! First, thank you for the whole concept of the zine. *g* As usual, you have nicely atmospheric writing in all three stories. I like that last line of "These Daylight Hours" that says all that needs be said. *g* And the "braver than he'd ever be" image of Bodie as Doyle lies there--ohh. But I especially liked "Chinese Whispers" and the moment when they find themselves whole again.

Thank you!

[livejournal.com profile] lukadreaming Hah! Pros from you! *g*

And, heh about the smugness. *g* But a lovely depiction of home and togetherness and, well, why it is. Thank you!

[livejournal.com profile] solosundance! Okay, firs the Q&As are, of course, brilliant. *g* Yes, I laughed out loud at some of those, and went "aww" at others. *g* Love the "rabbit" answer from Bodie, and Doyle thinking no one noticed him crying, and...oh, just so many of the others! Thank you. Great fun.

And then "Word is Out"! Lovely stuff. Doyle's jealousy, and his really quite direct action when he decides it's time to find out what Bodie needs to tell him. Yes. It absolutely had to be right then. Heh. I really liked that. And then the denoument! Oh, my. *g* But I do fall for Doyle's uncertainty and jealousy, and never realizing just how much of a contrast he is to any other man in Bodie's eyes (and especially in comparison with McCreary"), and exactly right for Bodie. *g* Great fun. Thank you!

[livejournal.com profile] probodie! Right, so you know I didn't get half (or all *g*) of the football references (ahem!), but I sure got the B/D ones! *g* I loved Bodie's "Any chance of me scoring tonight?” and Doyle completely missing it. *g* And then how it all came right--including braving Cowley (and Murphy!)

Thank you!

[livejournal.com profile] londonronnie! Ooh, one from you! And you know what? I am not a fan of present tense, at all, but this story is exactly the right time to use it. Well done. *g* It's a really nice scene of the two of them on obbo duty. I can totally feel Bodie's "Why did I?"/"Thank God I did". *g* Lovely.

Thank you!

Thanks for your kind words, really pleased that you liked it.

I am not a fan of present tense, at all,

Me neither, actually, and I've no idea why I used it for this drabble. It just happened that way! *g* Glad it worked for you anyway!

And...[livejournal.com profile] cornishcat!

Oh, I can totally see Doyle's brooding in these circumstances. *g* And Bodie's argument clincher--to save his partner? Yeah, he'd do it every time. Which Doyle knows perfectly well, and would do in a heartbeat if their positions were reversed. It's the story of their partnership, isn't it?

Anyway, a nice scene, and I love seeing them go off together. As always.

Thank you!

Ah, thanks for all your comments ... and I'm so glad that the lad's moods came across in my little drabble. Bodie's nonchalance that he'd always put Doyle first and Doyle's receding anger as he accepts it's the same for him too.

Together, always.

Aha, I've now learnt how to transfer pdfs to my i-touch, so I can now take these and read them anywhere. Oh what fun it is ...

Thank you for putting it all together for us.

I'm only just now catching up with the recent postings and so looking forward to reading this! Took a quick peek, lovely artwork too, especially that first drawing - love Doyle's expression in it.

*twinkling* despite the late January date. Actually, I read them all on my Kindle on the way to and from Germany - in the piano bar on the ferry from Hull to Rotterdam. I thoroughly enjoyed all the 'entries' and was delighted with the way I was able to read them 'like a book'. The piano gave suitably romantic background music, too!! Thank you for a lovely gift - to all the authors/artists and to you for your hard work compiling it.
