Thank you everyone who responded to the poll yesterday, and since there were four people who said they'd still like to write something for the Discovered When We First Met challenge, the deadline is now extended to Sunday 17th July!

So for anyone who would like to join in here's the original challenge post, and you can post your stories/artwork/drabbles/poems/songs/erm... any other creations to the community until midnight in your time zone (or midnight in Pago Pago if you get really stuck, because we won't close the challenge until they've had their chance too... *g*) If you'd like a prompt, feel free to request one either here or at the original post.

There will of course, be a new challenge when this one closes - but if you do start something and don't quite finish on time to post at discoveredinalj it's still worth finishing and posting to the_safehouse so that everyone can read it, honest! The whole point of discoveredinalj was to provide inspiration and encourage writing (and art and anything creative, but especially writing) - so posting to a comm where everyone can read it is the really important thing... *g*

Hullo! Is that JULY that the deadline's extended to? :)

I've been knocking myself out trying to finish, so if it is July there's a bit of a breather and a better chance of a decent edit getting done. *fingers crossed*

But if not I'll just post when the deadline's up....

BTW, is it OK to have two? My fic has morphed into two with alternate POVs, as I've read a few stories like that recently must've been enamored with the concept.... <3

Hullo! Can you tell me what the comm's policy is about waiting to post elsewhere? :) I know I've read some fics elsewhere that said they were written for this comm, but is there a waiting period?

I ask because I usually like to take a shotgun approach and post several places at once, but I'm quite willing to wait and be a good citizen, of course. :-)
