May Day
by…

It was, Doyle thought, almost the perfect Spring day, even here in London. Michael Fish might be forecasting more doom and gloom, and somewhere south of the river the police were still trying to quiet the angry muttering streets, but here at least there were trees in blossom, grass newly mown and fragrant, and the sun was shining. Bodie lifted an eyebrow at him. "You mean this isn't a pick up?"

Doyle grinned, opened his eyes and sat up – point to Bodie. "If you want me to leave you two alone…"

"Christ no, can you imagine? The old man wouldn't know what to do in the cottages!"

"You mean you're au fait?"

"I mean D'Oyly Carte…"

"Bodie! Doyle! There you are! I thought I said near the entrance…"
