After an assignment that had almost gone wrong (Anson would be walking around with a cast on his arm for the next six weeks, doing phone duty), Mr Cowley had sent Bodie and Doyle home for the next three days. Not without giving them the advice to "use the days wisely". Okay, he probably had other things on his mind than Bodie and Doyle. Anyway, the next morning found them in the kitchen.

Doyle stood with his head in the fridge, looking for milk and butter while waiting for the tea water to boil on the cooker
