I thought we might have a mini impromptu challenge for a little while - something a bit loose, but something that might help with inspiration or a general desire to write Pros at any moment of the day!

Writers, artists and readers and watchers can all participate - and participate now! As soon as or whenever you see this, come to the comm and either:

a) ask for a prompt, to which you can write a fic/drabble/create art/whatever you like right now (-ish *g*), and then post it

b) post to the comm (or comment here if you're shy) asking for someone else to write/draw/create something specific that you just feel like reading now, or have wanted to see for ages, or have a yen or a lust for...

c) come to the comm and respond to someone's request!

Whichever you choose to do, do it as soon as you can after seeing this challenge/banner/post/etc - it's all about sudden inspiration and instant gratification! It could be a fully-fledged story, or it could be a drabble, a snippet, just a moment in the lads' lives... it could be a work of art, a work in progress, a half-thought-of dream... let's see if we can prompt lots of Pros-y posts on lj over the next week or so!

As ever, the trailer information and posting guidelines are on our user info page - apart from those posting requests, anything Pros-y goes... *g* No deadline for now - just whilst we're waiting for the next challenge to be ready! *g*

Working today (ha!) but if anyone happens to feel like either of these ....:

a) either one of them, obliged to get (or accidentally getting) high while undercover, then getting uncharacteristically handsy/lustful/loving with the other (an old 'un, but what the heck, I'm fond of it! *g*)

OR:

b) Crouching Marksman, Hidden Blowjob (or any variants on that general idea)

OR

c) either one getting the other very hot and bothered when he can't do anything about it, and then exacting a terrible (i.e. wonderful) revenge afterwards.

I admit I'm curious about the phenomenon. :) I've only read one (which was a Christmas story, and consequently I liked it).

Lol - well, I think it helps to read it in context... I've read (much of) The Hunting, which I suspect was the first Pros "elf fic" (though I could be wrong) and various others in the genre. Most of them aren't written by authors I'm particularly fond of, and it's really the writing that I don't like. Arduinna Finn's stories are a bit different, in that a) she seems like a good writer to me, and b) she's also rather taking the piss out of the elf genre as well, so... *g* Oh, actually there's another elf story I like, but it was just a snippet, by Castalia, who I love as a writer - just 200 words (http://phantomas.livejournal.com/198604.html#cutid1) but it promises so much more! *g*

There are Pros teddy bear fics that I love too - it's not the subject matter, for me, it's what a good writer makes of it... *g*

@_@; Nothing graphic but I'm blushing fiercely...

The elves seem a bit like the ones from Jonathan Norrel and Mr. Strange, "old fashioned" elves, and rather wicked.

Regarding teddy bear stories, I never read any in Pros, but I like them okay in Starsky and Hutch (where it's totally canon--there's an important stuffed bear in one episode, and a couple of glimpses of stuffed animals in other eps). :D

That's a wise word, what you said about the writer being what makes the story, more than the subject matter. :)
