I was looking at this story yesterday for my own list of christmas recs and in my opinion it's one of *the* best christmas stories ever - a lovely rec - thank you.

The story starts sort of "normal" with a well known conflict read in many stories, but I like two things really much: it shows two men at peace with themselves and the world (such a proper story for christmas). The other thing I like is Doyle's "Trodden Vim all over my bloody scarf!". That's cute!
