Happy solstice everyone (summer as well, but especially up here where it's winter-dark but where there will be just a little more sunshine again from today)! And merry the-world-hasn't-ended-yet-either...

I had absolutely planned to post a long story today - the sequel to Two on a Treasure Island - but disaster of disasters, it might be NaNoWriMo-long, but it isn't finished - this week, which I'd had tagged to do nothing but write, has turned into one long week of mayhem and distraction... So I'm going to fall back on an offering that seemed to be acceptable last year...

For anyone who Pulls a cracker and comments to this post with a request, I will write a wee Pros ficlet, and they will come popping out on [livejournal.com profile] discoveredinalj all day today... So if you'd like a Pros-y story, whether a Solsticy/Christmasy/end-of-the-world-y or even a non-seasonal one - any prompt will be accepted! - then please comment below to let me know what you'd like. You can be as detailed as you like, or just give me a single word, or a particular moment on Christmas day you'd like to see, or a gap you've always wondered about in an ep, or... anything you like, and it will be yours!

There will be fic for all comers - all you have to do, today, is ask... *g*

(ETA - I forgot I might need to specify B/D if it's slash, though I'll happily include other characters, or even focus on them! But I find I only really believe in B/D, and trying to slash other Pros characters just doesn't happen for me - sorry!)

And credit for the lads-y solstice-y image to [livejournal.com profile] empty_mirrors, who kindly made it for my Perfect Alignment story... *g*

Alrighty, here's a seasonal phrase for a prompt.

'Lord of Misrule'

A Happy Solstice to you, too! And I love the banner. But no pulling of a cracker, I want to read the sequel. So get to it! *g*

May I have a wee B/C story? (I know, I know, I'm abusing, but still? It's gifts time).

:D It was just meant as a hint that there is some touching between Bodie and Cowley. I just imagine your face finishing one story, and now thinking I wanted to lure you in a second story :D

Very nice; I just saw it because it's not possible for me to view pictures on my office computer; thanks for the gift!

Oh, ye gads, I should have specified B/D, shouldn't I...

Oh yeah! that's a case of "be careful what you ask for" isn't it?

I wasn't even thinking of slash (I used the / just out of habit); I want a ficlet with a Bodie and Cowley meaningful interaction, showing some special personal relation (of the military kind, or similar youth experiences for example), with mutual respect and affection, nothing visibly sexual (if some ambiguity leaks through, all the better, of course).

On my turn at the Xmas cracker game, you'll get a real slash B/C fic from me, sorry)

What a nice offer! Thanks. My prompt is Bodie is jealous because he accidentally sees Doyle giving Cowley a gift yet he'd got nuttin' from his partner. :) Slash please and a happy ending. I know,I'm boring...

I can't think of a prompt. I just wandered in to say what a lovely pic that is. Also, how brave of you to take on all-comers for Christmas fics *g*

Stonehenge under the moon--and there's my prompt for a B/D ficlet! Because I've been to Stonehenge in pouring rain and in sunshine, but not under a lovely moon. Wonderful picture.

You're a hard working woman to have managed so many wonderful fic in a single day. Bless.

I love the pic and I love your idea. I have a head full of cotton wool at the moment (thank you viruses) and some work I've got to do over the holidays :((( but I think the idea of having your sequel to look forward to will give me the strength to get me through!

So not asking for anything specific, but fully intending to enjoy any and all ficlets on the way to that sequel *bg*

On the other hand, as long as you're ficleting ... well it is The Longest Night of the Year ... and it does end with a sunrise ... *g* (maybe that will fit in with something you're doing anyway?)

Oh, Stonehenge and Bodie and Doyle! Lovely!

If you still take requests, how about a lads moment without words.
Like they often have in canon. I hope it's not too "non-specific". :)

What a lovely offer! I know I'm late, but is it still open? I'm seeing Bodie on the roof (of the CI5 building?), staring out at the night sky, and Doyle coming to find him....

Oh lord, I love that story! Such an awesome bit of plotting, with Bodie's father and uncle and Doyle being the one to see the link. And Bodie knowing about the stars! I'm rather a stargazer myself, probably why I want the lads to be, as well.... ;-)

Happy Solstice to you too, and what a lovely pic awaits us in today´s Cracker!

IF you still wanna write, I just thought the other day, that the Lads keep jumping out of their Capri´s and what about locking them?
What if they come back one day and it´s gone?
*g*

Or if that's too close to some other of the suggestions? How about Bodie and fairy lights? :-)
