So all the way back in November 2006, [livejournal.com profile] empty_mirrors and I launched the first ever [livejournal.com profile] discoveredinalj December/Christmas/Winter/Let-there-be-light calendar challenge - Discovered in the Mistletoe, and it's been going strong every year since. We always wondered and worried a bit whether we'd have enough sign-ups to fill the calendar from 1st December to 6th January, and when I was doing it solo I worried about that even more... but we always managed it!

But time and people move on, and stuff changes, so this year I thought I'd do a poll first! I'll leave it open for a few days, and then let you know how it worked out... *g*

If you've not been around for Pros in December before, and you'd like to know how it all works, do go and see the intro posts and what's happened in the past, via these links, and feel free to ask questions. If you check out the comm's user page, you'll see all the challenges we've done in between Decembers too... *g*
Discovered in the Mistletoe
Discovered in the Brandybutter
Discovered Whilst a-Carolling
Discovered in a Stocking
Discovered in the Fairylights
Discovered in the Christmas Tree
Discovered in a Christmas Cracker

What d'you think? Shall we? Will you...?

I didn't tick anything on the second question because December is currently a bit unpredictable - but I do hope I'd have enough time to sign up for a day, so feel free to count me as a probable extra person for the purposes of your survey!

I'm all bouncy-bouncy yes please, but I'm a tad worried about you, because you'll be travelling and stuff, and I don't want to think of you chewing your arms to stumps over it... so I'm all yay! but only if it won't cause you massive grief.

Ooh serendipity doodah, I was just looking through past Christmas challenges on the comm and realised you'd posted today! It's a sign! I have ticked yes please and yes I will.

Having just recently organized the Starsky and Hutch Secret Santa and started writing for the S&H Advent calendar, I got to thinking--where's the Pros Discovered in an LJ? Yay. Yes, I will sign up for a day.

I had the same thoughts as Snailbones....
And I had this in mind, too, when I asked for Pros fic from you, because the Prosy flow was so small, over the last weeks.

But I'm reassured now and doing a happy dance! Thank you so much, it's soooo nice to have a bit of Pros coming up every day!

I had a sign too! I was clearing out an old handbag and found a couple of lines of something Pros-y. That must mean I'm going to write them again, yes?

Like some other folks, I did wonder whether you'd have a chance to organise a challenge this year with everything else that you've got going on at the moment, so yay!!

The DiaLJ challenge is such a big part of our Pros-y Christmas, so here's hoping that enough people sign up!

Waaah! I'd love to but I really can't - don't know when I'll be back or when I'll have internet access. But I really love this tradition so I've voted yes please but no, can't do.

I haven't done written a story before, but I've been around since the 90s, so it's time I got my feet wet.

How does it work? I used to have a livejournal account.

I would certainly like to write a story for one of the days of December or write a longer one which could be serialized over several days, if that would be okay. I love this idea and will be happy to join in.

Thanks so much for your reply. I've been thinking about my story and now that I understand about posting, I'll do my best to make it a shorter story so that I can post it at one time. Anxiously awaiting your information. Thanks again.
