Each day after the expected end, with new submissions, is like double-gifts! *g* I enjoyed Doyle's arguments to himself, and the way it turned out it was just as well he hadn't kept some of his resolutions--like killing his new partner--after all. *g* Also, Bodie's reaction to Doyle being left on his own like that. Ooh, yes. And Doyle's fear and the shot he made, and Bodie's reaction to that... Yes, well, enjoyable all around!

Thank you very much!

Thank you - just back from a week away, hence delay. Glad you enjoyed!

I'm going to be very boring and second most of what [livejournal.com profile] msmoat just said *g*. It's great that we're still getting new stuff every day (shame we can't keep this up indefinitel, really...), and this is yet another good read to add to the pile. I really liked Bodie's reaction to Doyle's predicament – I can just see him telling off Cowley for putting Doyle in that position. And – as [livejournal.com profile] msmoat also said – Doyle's nick-of-time shot to save Bodie from the villain he overlooked. Enjoyed the "Is he?/Isn't he" tension of the 'seduction' scene, too. Thank you!

Thanks. Just back from a week away, so a bit late saying so. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Such a treat to find this as I try to catch up. You captured Doyle's voice well, and I could really envisage the whole scenario playing out as you described it. Thanks for this bonus!

Thank you for this delightful present! I particularly love the sense of humour you give them. The rat sauntering out looking a bit like Bodie? *choke*! But this was my favourite bit

We missed midnight, because we were… busy. Very, very busy. And however good we were – are – at the job, we were bloody dynamite in bed. If Cowley had offered praise for sexual prowess, we’d have been basking in that.

Thank you.
I hope you do some basking, yourself!
