It's still just my day, so - have this wot I just wrote.

A CI5 Sonnet

If I believed the drivel that I read,
That all our fates are written in the stars,
I'd look above to see when we'll next bleed,
Or whether our next op will be a farce
Put on by Cowley as a double-think,
To test us, or worse, to use us as bait;
Even if so, let's have another drink,
And smile into each other's eyes, and wait,
For even though we might enjoy complaining,
Sometimes wish to drink from another cup,
Stay just for lack of other means of gaining --
Nah, mate, I doubt I'd ever give this up;
So let's get back into the old Capri,
Back on the job -- side by side -- you and me.
