Well, it's been a bit frantic here over the last few days (when is it not!) and I can't even begin to remember how I was going to explain away this one. I very much doubt it even counts as Pros. *Basically*, some of you may have seen a green-eyed-Ray-with-willows that I made last year? Well, it's on my AO3 anyway...
jaicen5 and I were discussing MS's seemingly-fluid eye colour the other week, and I had a sudden wintery vision that wanted to be made. Once again, it's not what I was planning to manip next, but hey! These things happen (apparently.) And I'm sorely afraid it's about as far removed from canon as it's possible to be, and sorely lacking in Human-Bodie. (Note to self: remedy this next time) Anyway, I hope at least some of you like... ;-)

"And I'm sorely afraid it's about as far removed from canon as it's possible to be, and sorely lacking in Human-Bodie."
Now and then I can happily live with 'strange' AUs. And I see Bodie there! :-)
I really wonder the story behind it all - maybe someone feels inspired?
Anyway, I really like it! Let things happen! :-)
Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this. ♥

Date: 2014-12-16 01:41 pm (UTC)It's delightful, thank you! You've done a beautiful job of blending it all together - you must have the patience of a saint - and it's so whimsical and wintery and... just perfect. Who cares how far from canon it is - it's fabulous! Thank you again.

It really does invite the viewer to fill in the story. I also like the lighting - so atmospheric.
Great work!

Date: 2014-12-16 02:15 pm (UTC)You mention Doyle in the willows (which always makes me think of a moment in HG and Sebastian's 'No Unicorns' letter fic story (http://hatstand.slashcity.net/hg/unicorns.html)) - is this your willow picture, on this post (http://giseerouchon.livejournal.com/3777.html) of yours?
Not at all the Doyle I think of normally, but, as it happens, I too have recently been imagining an image rather like this (ie, Doyle looking all woodland spirit / Pan / something) as the starting point for a ficlet.
It was on the back burner. Hmm. May have to get back to that one...
I love all the different parts - the wolf and the light and particularly the holly crown. I'm still not certain about his eye colour, mind, so please do keep investigating. Your efforts in the service of research are appreciated, I am sure!
(Edited to add link to No Unicorns as well as your pic.)

Date: 2014-12-16 10:06 pm (UTC)It remindes me of the movie " Ladyhawk " where one of the main characters during the day is a hawk and the other protagonist at night is a wolf.
I think Bodie is the wolf and maybe Doyle would change into the hawk in a few minutes.

a few years ago2008 - bloody Norah! I think there's something of Oak in this manip even if the robe is white rather than green, and a couple of other things are different. It feels quite like that story anyhow.no subject
