The artist is - er, well, despite the fact that her full name is not hard to find, I am under the impression she asks for it to be abbreviated on the internet. I can send you more details if you would like to clarify with her herself exactly how to refer to her.

I know that picture very well - for a brief time, I was looking after the original on its way to someone else. Up close, it is absolutely beautiful.

I do like these covers. I would read 'On The Road Again' in a heartbeat!

I tried to set a series of "episodes", with a beginning, a middle and an end. Actually I had other ones, which would have given a better segue but it would have been too long and I think I already have posted some of them.

As for the artist, her fan name is Hisstah. Although her given name is readily available on fanlore and other places. On fanlore, there are links to her website and AO3. So... Just letting you know.

Ah, thanks. That needed to be said. It's always a little embarrassing not to be able to, at least, acknowledge the talent of an artist whose work you have used without asking permission first.

The artist has a website under her actual name (http://www.lorrainebrevig.com/Miscellaneous_Fandoms.htm), so I don't think she's shy about using it online, or relating it to pictures of Bodie and Doyle, which are listed there under Miscellaneous Fandoms. And I do rather like that one, of course... *g* And more of those book covers that just make you think of stories - thank you! *g*

The first image (I have the original thanks to moonlight mead as a courier) was made for my big bang story The Morning Gift which is available on my AO3 account (same name as for LJ). The artist is fabulous and the original picture is even better than the online version!!
