Merry Christmas, everyone! This started as one image, which became two and then a paragraph that was based on the images, became a ficlet. The story and full size images can be found with the AO3 link below.

Apologies, if the second image isn't under a cut. I may not have successfully wrangled the html into submission. *g*

What a lovely story to start the day. :-) But Doyle should have known that he couldn't keep Bodie out. He was fighting the inevitable.

Terrific art and the story goes along so well. The gentle, subdued colors and foggy/smokey background set the stage for your words perfectly. [I like the 2nd picture best!] I love the atmospheric scenes that reflect so well the struggle that Doyle is having within himself. And Bodie is spot-on - just there for his partner. This is a well characterized and perfectly told "lads" ficlet!

Gorgeous! I love both images, and then the story... oh my! So soft and sweet and full of beautiful images. Thank you!

Oh, *fabulous* images! I'm not sure which I prefer. I'm not going to chose, I love them both. I love the expressions that you have chosen for them, and the angle of the shot. (I would never have thought of using such a shot). You have such a great eye. I love the the ethereal and ephemeral gauziness, too. Very impactful. Sorry for not replying sooner, I have been battling real life.. (yuk!) Have a lovely Christmas. :)
