A Collection of CI5 Women

Because I'm not good in writing in English, the only way for me to participate is to take some pictures from the women in CI5. I hope, I've catched them all.

Edit: I forgot Kate Ross. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] heliophile_oxon for her question. Kate Ross is now settled under Sally.

Here we go:

We have the lovely, always present Betty (no surename known)

Betty Collage

We have Cowleys driver and assistant Ruth Pettifer

Ruth Collage

And we have the very tough Susan Fischer

Collage Susan Fischer

We have the late night operator 6.2, better known as agent Sally (without surename)

Sally Collage

Kate Ross, the shrink of CI5

Kate Ross Collage

There are the undercover agents Julie, Liz Spalding and Suzie the karategirl

Collage Liz and Julie and Suzie

There are the lovely Julia as day operator and Meg in computers

And last but not least there are a variaty of secretaries

Sekretärinnen

I want to apologize because some of the pictures are not so good. But sadly some of my material isn't so good either.

That's Brilliant!

It's like a mini resource all on its own (and the framing reminds me of the stories in things like Jackie).

That's brilliant, thank you! I always get the ladies mixed up in my brain, so this is wonderful. I didn't realise how many there were - and so many tough ones too.

Nicely done! Especially given the small amount of material to work with--you've done a fabulous job. Thank you!

This is such a cool post - It's Bodie/Doyle I watch Pros for, but I do like to see the world they live in consisting of actual real women as well, who think and act and are competent and efficient at their job - agent or computer operator or secretary and all! Thank you! *vbg*

Actually, you've made me think - Pros also showed that it was completely normal for women to have roles as agents and spies for years and years before the 1970s. Elizabeth Walsh, for instance, is shown as highly competent. Elsa... whose surname I can't remember, but who was important in searching for chappie in A Stirring of Dust (I think? Or is it the other one that I get tangle up with, with that?!) - Elsa Cor...something! She was another highly competent spy "in the old days", and portrayed as such! Not in CI5, obviously, but you made me think about them too, so thanks! *g*

(Just finished work - yeaaaaay!)

That's Liz Spalding - you got her! *g* And thank you - Elsa Corren! *vbg*

I think it might be the scene where Bodie kisses her on the cheek - I didn't make the icon though (that was [livejournal.com profile] myrebelcat), so I'm not entirely sure... pretty sure, though. *g*

Oh nicely done! I always think of Betty as having dark hair, but actually she has blondey highlights. I love Betty :D

This is such a good idea! And you've done the collections very well!

The woman I like best ist Ruth. The way she characterises the boys while driving Cowley is priceless! :-)
And all those nameless secretaries. I never knew there are so many.

Thank you!

This is brilliant - thank you! I especially like Betty and Ruth. I don't know why, I think it's that they seem to have a rather dry sense of humour when it comes to our lads. Susan seems to be trying just that teeny bit too hard, somehow. This must have been a labour of love though - how many hours did you have to watch? I am grateful!

This is excellent! I don't think I've see a more comprehensive list of Pros female characters (especially with photo and name together). As mentioned above, this is a good Pros resource. Thank you!

I'm coming in late sorry, but these are a brilliant record of the Professionals women *g* You've obviously done a lot of research.

Oh, thank you for this - it's great, and I don't think we've ever had a hero's gallery celebrating the women of CI5! What about Dr. Ross, though, I guess she's at least an expert consultant if not necessarily a member of staff?

And I can never remember who was in more than one episode or only appeared in one ... (my memory is pretty ropey, tbh)

Mainly I'm dropping by (late, oops) to say thank you for compiling a great dossier, though!
