A Collection of CI5 Women
Because I'm not good in writing in English, the only way for me to participate is to take some pictures from the women in CI5. I hope, I've catched them all.
Edit: I forgot Kate Ross. Thanks to
heliophile_oxon for her question. Kate Ross is now settled under Sally.
Here we go:
We have the lovely, always present Betty (no surename known)

We have Cowleys driver and assistant Ruth Pettifer

And we have the very tough Susan Fischer

We have the late night operator 6.2, better known as agent Sally (without surename)

Kate Ross, the shrink of CI5

There are the undercover agents Julie, Liz Spalding and Suzie the karategirl

There are the lovely Julia as day operator and Meg in computers

And last but not least there are a variaty of secretaries

I want to apologize because some of the pictures are not so good. But sadly some of my material isn't so good either.

Date: 2016-02-01 06:54 pm (UTC)It's like a mini resource all on its own (and the framing reminds me of the stories in things like Jackie).

Date: 2016-02-01 07:22 pm (UTC)Yes, it was a lot of work but it was a lot of fun also. And by the way I watched episodes I didn't remember very well. :-)

Date: 2016-02-01 07:51 pm (UTC)That's brilliant, thank you! I always get the ladies mixed up in my brain, so this is wonderful. I didn't realise how many there were - and so many tough ones too.

Date: 2016-02-01 08:10 pm (UTC)Yes, there are many ladies in CI5. I had to make a note with the names because I couldn't remember all. And the problem is, I'm still sure I missed one. :-)

Date: 2016-02-01 08:52 pm (UTC)Yes, there are not so much scenes with the ladies of CI5, but I found more than I thought I would.

Date: 2016-02-01 08:26 pm (UTC)Actually, you've made me think - Pros also showed that it was completely normal for women to have roles as agents and spies for years and years before the 1970s. Elizabeth Walsh, for instance, is shown as highly competent. Elsa... whose surname I can't remember, but who was important in searching for chappie in A Stirring of Dust (I think? Or is it the other one that I get tangle up with, with that?!) - Elsa Cor...something! She was another highly competent spy "in the old days", and portrayed as such! Not in CI5, obviously, but you made me think about them too, so thanks! *g*

Date: 2016-02-01 09:04 pm (UTC)Yes, it really shows that there were many women in the services. The woman in A Stirring of Dust is Elsa Corren, so you are right. And I'm glad I made you think about the women.
Btw: Who ist the girl under Susan Fischer in your icon? Is this the one I missed? *g*

Date: 2016-02-01 09:07 pm (UTC)That's Liz Spalding - you got her! *g* And thank you - Elsa Corren! *vbg*

Date: 2016-02-01 09:10 pm (UTC)Thanks. So this is the scene I missed, even if it isn't the lass I missed. ;-)

Date: 2016-02-01 09:22 pm (UTC)The woman I like best ist Ruth. The way she characterises the boys while driving Cowley is priceless! :-)
And all those nameless secretaries. I never knew there are so many.
Thank you!

Date: 2016-02-01 09:35 pm (UTC)Well, I can't decide if I like Ruth or Susan Fischer more. I think they are both very good, but you're right, Ruth's way of characterising the boys is really special.
Yes, there are many secretaries and I was really surprised when I found them! :-)

Date: 2016-02-02 07:33 pm (UTC)Yes, Betty and Ruth have a way of very dry humour. And I think you are right about Susan. Maybe she thought she had to prove that she's a hard girl.
I really don't know how many hours I watched, because for Betty, Ruth and Susan it was very easy. But I had to find all the others, so I think in total I watched eight hours.

Date: 2016-02-02 07:39 pm (UTC)It was amazing how many female Pros characters are there and sometimes I had a name on my piece of paper and didn't know the matching face. :-)

Date: 2016-02-03 08:09 pm (UTC)And I can never remember who was in more than one episode or only appeared in one ... (my memory is pretty ropey, tbh)
Mainly I'm dropping by (late, oops) to say thank you for compiling a great dossier, though!

Date: 2016-02-03 08:58 pm (UTC)Oh, for me Dr. Ross IS a member of CI5 staff. That's the reason while she had her own collage. It is "Kate Ross, the shrink of CI5". And for me she isn't only an expert consultant, even if she appears only in one episode.
So, thanks for dropping by "better late than never" *g*
Edit: Thank you for reminding me of Kate Ross.
I had the collage, but I forgot to put it into this post. :-(
