Individual Bingo Card - Edinburgh

I'm still writing stories - but I wanted to do some pics - and a vid - if I could. I always had it in mind to do a pic for my Edinburgh square and this is what I came up with (after, as some will know, a hilarious detour through this, which was not at all in keeping with the tone I wanted to strike!).


My pic was inspired by all those fics where Doyle runs off and gets lost in the snow (Bodie always seems to get lost in the desert - or maybe that's just the fic I read...).

Anyhoo - here's me pic:

How is it that I missed the original Bingo card post? Anyway, it's a really lovely pic. Very atmospheric, it makes want to know what's going on there. And for me, definitely mature. *g*

I see BSL has kindly jumped in with the info re the Bingo post :0)

I'm glad you think it was atmospheric - I think finding the castle in the snow (http://blog.edinburghcastle.gov.uk/index.php/christmas-at-the-castle/) helped - but the original pic is too cheery - in my head I saw it more brooding like the ruins above Whitby.

I'm quite pleased with how it turned out - I might try doing another one at some point, it was quite an enjoyable process..
