Discovered in the Bleak Midwinter

I hope it will work because my first plans were thwarted by my wicked new smartphone, which stubbornly refused to talk to my computer. So, no alluring pictures of my lovely action figures impersonating Bodie, Doyle, Cowley, Murphy and even Marty, Miss Walsh, Macklin and Towser (I am looking for a Jax), with a few female dolls still waiting for their identity (agents or girlfriends?).

Instead I came with old tricks of mine: snowballs and romance novels covers. Much less original, sorry, but I couldn't do otherwise.

Some are old, some are new. I had used the old ones for the previous years Xmas postcards; I tried to compose a story line with them and even inserted a brief (unhappy) affair between Bodie and Cowley, before the B/D happy ending.

Some of the pictures used were not of the best quality, especially the" Knight" one, which must have been an icon. If somebody gives me a proper one, I may change the cover for a better. Idem for "Just Married".

Well done! I really really like that B and C's affair doesn't last, he he! It must be hard to be a fan of such an unusual pairing! The "Mine" and "His" pics are also my favorite ones. The story line is fun, and of course I love the happily ever after ending, with the PROPER pairing, LOL.

OK, but for that I must gather more interesting pictures with a good definition and the right format from the LJ and FB; now, I have most of mines in my smartphone's memory and can't retrieve them to transfer to my hard drive. Unfortunately, I lost hundreds of them in the same time as two of my flash drives years ago and never got them back afterwards. The screen captures don't work with the program I use to make the covers.

Oh, these are such fun. I love the captions with the pictures, was a little worried with the B/C detour (just not my thing but if it makes people happy, go for it) but I'm happy to see our lads married off and living happily ever after. I've always thought of the picture you used as one of the "wedding pictures." Thanks for sharing.
