Dialj Challenge - Discovered On May Day

Well, we know it hasn't been very long since Temptations ended, but that was such a lo-ong spread out challenge we wondered if people might fancy a quickie..? *g*

So here is Discovered On May Day, in honour of the first day of May - a nice, simple celebration of spring and fertility, of maypoles and madrigals and 'obby 'osses, of the Haymarket Riots, and of labourers and workers around the world.

Well, see I took on this 30_lemons challenge for Starsky and Hutch. And so I've been writing non-stop S&H smut.

It's hard dividing my time between two fandoms... Oh wait, there was that Muncle thing I wrote, too. So, three fandoms. Eep.

I thought about doing it for Pros, but so many of those themes have already been tackled by other writers already, and much better than I could ever manage them myself. S&H are less intimidating.

It's a funny thing - the two fandoms are about the same age, but the Pros has a far older tradition of writing smut than Starsky and Hutch does.

Hey! Starsky and Hutch were my *first* fandom (not counting a brief fling with the A-Team, ahem). So, technically I'm cheating on S&H with the Pros. And I've only been flirting with MfU lately. It's nothing serious. Just dinner. A couple drinks...

Ahem. I need to get to know Napoleon and Illya better before I get any more serious about them.

But, I will have a Pros story for the first. And it will be smutty - I think. I've just got a vague notion at the moment, but I'm sure I'll manage.

Currently, there's a nice lady on one of my lists who is trying to unload all of her S&H zines by holding various challenges and competitions. Today's was "write a S&H limerick in 24 hours". Since I own almost no zines, and can't really afford to buy them, I've been doing her challenges.

I can't help it. I'm polyfictional.

We can all live in harmony, though, can't we? :-)

Yeay for Pros stories though! I'm only at the vague notion stage myself - but it'll all work out in the end, right?

Love your friend's idea for getting rid of her zines! Must remember that should anything ever befall my love of the lads... (*hugs them close*)

I think what befell her was a neighbor's overly inquisitive child, poking into her zines and then running home to tell mum. Or something along those lines. Luckily I have no reputation to preserve!

And no, I was a gen girl back then. But if I ever wrote A-Team again, I would totally slash them. I could easily buy Face (because he would do anything on two legs, and maybe some on four) and Murdock (because he's insane). Anyone boffing Hannibal, though, is just way too close to incest for me. And BA... well, I've read some I like, but I think he's too reactionary to go along with it convincingly. And his mom would never approve.

Oh no! Although overly inquisitive children deserve what they get, and I hope her mum whacked her one around the ear for peering into other people's belongings! Well no, not really, but it's not like it's illegal or anything. Well apart from the illegal bits. But that has nothing to do with, say pictures...

Now BA and Murdoch I could probably see (reluctantly, with my eyes squeezed shut and peering out through my fingers), cos it's that whole methinks-he-protesteth-too-much syndrome. But really... just... no thank you... :s (Mind you, this from the girl who says no thank you to any slash pairing except B/D... *g* I never said I was being fair!)

Any slash pairing? 0_o But S&H are so CUTE! And cuddly. And they keep touching each other, and hugging, and drinking out of each other's beer bottles and coffee cups, and dancing together, and cross-dressing, and getting drunk and falling into each other's laps (yep, it's all canon!).

Unfortunately, some of the zines were illustrated. And not terribly subtle, even on the covers. I've just got one in the mail with lovely naked S&H. Yum.

Starsky was undercover. And he stashed his cuffs in his bra. Unfortunately, that meant he couldn't get to them easily later. ;-) But definitely cute and cuddly - Bodie and Doyle are great, but they got nothing S&H for cuddly. Give some of my lemons a try (they're all linked on my lj). You'll see what I mean!

Erm... see that would be with me not really wanting my lads too cute and cuddly... Just... nah, no thanks. If I was at all poly-fan I'd totally read (and love I'm sure) your lemons, but I just know they'd do nothing for me... It's just me CI5 lads I lurve... I know, I'm just weird like that... Thanks though!
