Well, you've had a very hectic second half of the year, so it's hardly surprising it's been a tad frenzied to position for Christmas, but the IMPORTANT thing is that there's still a 2018 DIALJ Calendar and also now cloudless_9193's lovely banner. Yay!

It has been a rather busy half-year (and year before that, really!), it's true! I think I actually spent more time trying to make a banner myself (terribly amateur, but better than nothing, I hoped!) than I needed to - I bet if I'd called out when I first needed one, someone would have jumped in, even if it was short notice. I shall know better another year! *g*

The picture has a simple but rich feel to it, maybe like a short pile velvet, with the Houses and Big Ben as the ground and the cut out shapes superimposed. Love it!

I'm being boring and repetitive in saying again how much I love this but I do! I love the fact that it's a silhouette, with the background of one of my favourite parts of London and I love the unusual combination of colours - a kind of coffee-brown(?) and black. Just perfect, thank you!
