I'm late closing the challenge again - sorry about that! And thank you so much to our love-struck writers and artists and readers and commenters for a fun challenge! As ever there will be an "archive" of sorts on the User Info page, via the challenge banner (thank you again, macklingirl, for a new banner for challenge!) but if you haven't already please do let our Pros-Lib archivist have your story - the_hag is now running our oldest Pros fic archive! - or think about archiving to AO3 so that even more people can read about and see our lads!

Hi Joanna - sorry for the delay replying, I've just got home after being away on holiday.

I've just checked the list of members, and you're not there I'm afraid, so it looks like something went wrong!

If you go to the User Info/Profile page (click here to find it (https://discoveredinalj.livejournal.com/profile)) then I think you should see a pale blue bar at the top, and something like "Join Community" as a button - if you click on that it will probably then ask if you also want to "Watch" the community (that means have it come up on your Friends Page so you can see all new posts as they're made). Click "yes", and follow any other instructions, and that should work!

We used to post "seasonal" challenges, so they weren't regular, but there are lots of seasonal events to use as a reason to post, which was fun, but then a bunch of people made a new Pros comm and started posting weekly challenges, and then made the Big Bang Pros comm too, and there wasn't much room left for Discoveredinalj's challenges, so they rather faded away. Although there is still always the December/Winter/Christmas challenge every year!

But I keep meaning to post more challenges, and you're inspiring me a bit with your question - and that I think I rather recognise your Pros writing name... *g* So let me see what I can do!

There's still good places to find new Pros fic too:
- discoveredinalj has archived all fic/art etc. created for challenges via the User Info/Profile page link above. You'll see the banners we used for the challenges, and if you click on those, they'll take you to all the entries for that particular challenge. The earlier ones are the ones with most stories etc! You can also look under the tags for the comm (https://discoveredinalj.livejournal.com/tag/) and find the various authors/artists and the posts (often stories) that they've made.
- ci5hq has recs for various stories, usually with links.
- I always find it hard to navigate unless I know exactly what I'm looking for, but of course Archive of Our Own has Pros stories. Here's a link to all "Professionals" works - although it's not just stories (https://archiveofourown.org/tags/The%20Professionals/works). - The Hatstand (http://hatstand.slashcity.net/) is also still up.
- The Oblique site (http://www.oblique-publications.net/oblique.html) is still up too, with lots of Pros

There's other places too, such as specific author sites, and of course via tags at the_safehouse and so on. Some people post over at Dreamwidth too, having decided that lj is too evil these days, so there are probably some stories there too, although I don't think there's lots (and many writers cross-post to lj anyway). But maybe the links above will keep you busy for a while, and lead you to other places.

As far as I know there's only one Joana Dey in Pros fanfic and she's me. I haven't written Pros in years (Stargate, White Collar) but recently I've felt the calling of my first and most beloved pairing!
