Discovered in the Auturmn: Writing a missing scene

I like to give myself challenges--and this one is a doozy; to write a missing scene for The Gun. First, I need to watch again, since it has been a decade since I saw it once. But--as soon as I find the time, that is my quest. I find writing missing scenes for eps I do not like helps me appreciate them more. And having Bodie and Doyle to look at does help.

Anyone else have an episode they do not like and have tried to write for?

The episode I really don't like is Black Out. It's so hokey. I'll think about whether an added scene could help.

I don't even recall Black Out! I guess I will have to rewatch that one, too!

I think I dislike Close Quarters even more than The Gun, to be honest, because we barely get a glimpse of Doyle, and Bodie's acting ridiculously throughout (clearly lost without Doyle!) I seem to remember a conversation where I was able to explain what Bodie does as being down to muddle-headedness from strong painkillers, but I don't think I ever wrote that story. Not sure I could either, because again, Doyle's not there... Perhaps that would be the challenge, putting Doyle back where he should be! *vbg*

I rarely have time to watch by myself lately, and seem to only see the eps Krisser runs--Now I'll have to check out Close Quarters again. But yes, I can't abide not having Doyle about! You must remedy the situation.
