“In the kitchen,” Doyle shouted.
“What’s up?” Bodie asked, breathing deep. Cinnamon and chocolate he thought happily.
“Making biscuits for Murphy’s Christmas get-together.”
Doyle slapped Bodie’s reaching hand with a wooden spoon. “Later. Now put those lips to better use - pouting isn’t going to work.”
Bodie pressed tight against Doyle and kissed his cheek.
“Behave,” Doyle laughed, stopping Bodie’s hands from heading further south.
“Fine.” Bodie retreated.
Doyle sighed. “Take one.”
Bodie did. “You bake me very happy.”
Doyle groaned. “And you, mate, take the biscuit.”
