I finally had a chance to play with this — good fun, thank you! *g* I managed all but three, and those ones I can't even remember the episodes for (shame on me). I did detect a slight Bodie-bias in the clues though... 😆

I didn't consciously intend for the Bodie bias, but I also noticed it and kept trying to scrub through to balance out the Doyle clues. I have a challenge for next year!

For the 3 — I will gladly give episode hints if you'd like.

Here are 3 bonus clues for 3 clues that I thought were exceptionally obscure when I built the crossword:

- an arms dealer who is not Bodie's brother
- Two episodes open with a scene featuring an African national, the answer is in the episode you probably watch the least of the two.

- The episode where Doyle runs also features an acting department head.

Rats — it didn't save my answers overnight! But I think the clues I didn't get were:

Word with multiple slang meanings that may mean Bodie and Doyle
--- Hmmn, not sue if I got this in the end or not, but I can't think of it right now.

Acting Head of MI6
- The episode where Doyle runs also features an acting department head.
--- Yeah, this was one of the ones I didn't get — an ep where Doyle runs but Bodie doesn't... Doyle runs so often! Will have to think about this... *g*

Bodie bird hazard
--- don't think I got this one...

Arms dealer contact of Bodie's
- an arms dealer who is not Bodie's brother
--- aha, got this one now! *g*

Actually that's four, and there were definitely only three I couldn't get, so I must have worked one of those out in the end!

Among the many slang meanings is an official who does dishonest or illegal things.

Acting Head of MI6

Hmm... Doyle runs and is shot with possibly the most unflattering camera angle of the series?

Bodie bird hazard

This one could benefit from a re-write, and I may have been too cute. The "bird" references a lady and the answer for "hazard" is repeated from the second, similarly worded clue. So, a pair of matching hazard clues that have the same answer.
