"Oi, Bodie", Doyle shouted over the sound of the vacuum cleaner. "Don't sit on the couch and let me do all the homework."
"But Ray, I tried to help and dusted the books, but look what I found. Our photo album. Take a break and remember the great time we had. Come, take a look."
Ray sighed. What should he do with Bodie? Everyone thought that Bodie was the tidy ex-army man in their relationship, but to tell the truth, it was mostly Doyle who dusted, vacuumed and tidied up.
And he didn't like it either, but when Christmas time arrived, it had to be done. He stopped the vacuum cleaner and sat down next to Bodie.
"Ok, show me why you look like you're dreaming."
"Look, Ray, the wonderful day at the beach. Sun, water, a white beach....."
"Oh yes, and the 'Rolling Bistro'", Ray laughed. "I remember."
"Oh, that was a nice surprise. I was starving that day, and they had such a great selection of things for a growing boy like me."
"Oh, Bodie. You're so right. Sweet memories are much more important than cleaning the house. We can do that tomorrow." Ray kissed Bodie and snuggled up to him.
