Stupid Bastard part 2 - Home.

Stupid bastard won’t stop grinning, won’t stop clowning around, won’t stop bleeding – just a scratch, just a crease, on his fucking neck if you please and we’re talking a fraction of an inch here and that could have been an artery – and Doyle has had enough.

Slams the door behind them.

“You get your clothes off right now and get into that bloody shower and then I’m going to show you why you got to take as much care of your own skin as you do of mine.”

Bodie stops his stupid-bastard grinning. And slowly, slowly he begins to smile.

Thank you! He does have such different smiles and he's very expressive - conveying such different messages with each one - I do hope they're going to understand one another eventually!

I want more too! But RL is conspiring against me .... still got about 1/4 of my work to do, and there's a party just getting started in the garden with a sheet to project DVDs on and a bonfire and probably nice things to consume .... might pop down later, though!

I hope he does! Better behave now, while Doyle's in a forgiving mood - he's not too keen on Bodie being careless about his own health, even if it was in order to protect Doyle's. I think they've worked it out, though.

I'm so glad you like it - it has been huge fun joining in the drabblemania (never tried it before). They wanted to get into the shower (or at least, Doyle was determined that Bodie should, and Bodie doesn't seem to have any objections). Thanks for commenting!

He has so many different grins and smiles all conveying quite different things (wasn't it Paris_7am who put together a whole gallery of Bodie smiles? Or am I confused?). And I think he's going to be very happy now ...

Oh, I'll gladly shoulder the blame for this. Can so see this all playing out. Great! And IMO Bodie loves a dominant Doyle, so he's in seventh heaven.

Well I'm glad you jogged my elbow there! I think either one could have moments when they quite like the other getting a bit firm with them - this was definitely Doyle's turn! I agree, though, that Bodie might really rather enjoy it ... a lot ...
