Fluffy Bunny

"Reminds me of hunting with my grandfather," Bodie said out of the blue, or rather the black, one crisp Bonfire Night.

Doyle traced Bodie's thoughts idly through the haze of smoke and the maze of fizz as he watched the rockets bursting stars - silver, green, gold - into the sky.

"Oh yeah?" he asked, "With HRH was it? Brace of grouse or two?"

"Eh?"

"Shooting!"

"What? Nah," Bodie nudged him away from the bonfire to where a smaller flame was burning, where lips were licked and greasy fingers sucked. "We'd eat it straight off the spit, just like that…"

Sorry, but cutesy animals are just so not my thing - you're just hugely unlikely to make me ever write about them! My muse sticks fingers in her ear and sings lalalalalalalala and sends me whole other plots instead! Glad it was fun to read though, at least!

Lol, I did not really expect something cute I must admit. But as a bunny lover I had to try at least. And my head was fuzzy when I gave you the prompt.

Bravo! I love how you took the idea of a 'fluffy bunny' and turned it into something primal and very sexy - I think it's the "greasy fingers sucked" line, that makes me shiver!

And thank you! Couldn't resist the finger-sucking, and even though we usually see Doyle doing it, it struck me as such a Bodie thing to appreciate... *g*
