Well, I can't quite believe I'm about to say this, but... that's the end not just of the Discovered in the Brandy Butter Challenge, but also of our Discovered in 1977 theme, which we've been running since 13th June 2007, thirty years after filming Pros began in 1977 until - well, okay, we cheated a bit *g* - 30th December 2007 7th January 2008, thirty years after the first episode of Pros was transmitted.

Thank you so much to everyone who's taken part - creating, reading, commmenting, all the good stuff.

If you've contributed stories then don't forget that The Hatstand isn't archiving automatically any more, so do send fic to the archivist at the address given here.

As usual (if perhaps a bit later rather than sooner) all stories from Discovered In 1977 will be "bound" into a pdf zine for printing, or can be printed and comb bound for you by contacting us via the email addresses on the User Info Page. And each individual Challenge will be tagged and given a link from the User Info Page itself too.

Can you tell I'm trying to delay the moment? But I can't think of anything else useful to say, so - thanks again for a brilliant Winter/Solstice/Christmas/General Festival of Light Celebration, and Happy Pros Thirtieth Anniversary!

And also, even for the Circuit Archive (http://www.thecircuitarchive.com) - a number of authors put "not yet" or "after more editing" in the posting instructions, and so of course archiving won't be automatic for those stories; I won't put them up until I get a new version or further instructions from the author. Last year I never heard back from many of the authors who indicated this, which is a shame, since it seemed that their intention was to have their stories archived at some point. I will try to keep track myself, but I have a lot to keep track of *g*, and I don't like to be too annoying, so if you fall into this category, remember that you have to contact me if you want your story on the Circuit Archive.

Thanks to everyone, organizers and contributors, for making it a wonderful holiday season... So wonderful to have something Pros-y to look forward to every day.

And I'm still way behind with reading all the fic... *sigh*

But anyway, I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you've put into this. It's very much appreciated by everyone in the comm, believe me!

Thanks you very much for organising this (and all the other Discovered in...) and for all the writers, vidders and illustrators for their contributions. I haven't quite read everything and only tonight did hubby fix my my video player so I could actually begin to catch up on the vids I've missed!
It's certainly been a feast. :-)

Thank you from me too. It has been a wonderful year of fanfic, vids, etc. and now it is 30 years since the Pros episodes were first broadcast. The Pros community is wonderful!!

It was a wonderful endeavour! And while I didn't contribute in the true sense of the word, I had a great time reading and commenting. I can't wait until the zine is avaiable!

Am I the only one in withdrawal today? Somebody needs to post a story or a piece of art or something or I'm going to cry.

YEY!!! Another great seasonal challenge!! Thank you so much for setting these and encouraging us all to create. What would we do without you?

You're very much appreciated.

And well done to all those who have contributed. I just need some time to get through it all. Looking forward to it immensely. :)
