Looking Out For Bodie

 

“It’s the job, man. Don’t make it a personal vendetta.”

 

“No, sir.”

 

But it’s done now, and Doyle is too much of a professional to leave any evidence linking to him or to CI5.

 

He slides into bed, gently pulling the sleeping man closer to him, mindful of the cuts and bruises on the battered body. Bodie stirs; he’s aware of Doyle’s presence, but his subconscious knows there’s no threat of danger, and he goes back to the deep, restorative sleep he so badly needs.

 

Doyle kisses the marked, handsome face.

 

“Mine,” he whispers, and Bodie smiles, contentedly.

 

Safe now.

Me too :) Doyle doesn't like it when his Bodie gets hurt, so yes, it would have been something dark and violent, although I didn't work out the details :D

Is happy that Doyle is indeed looking out for his man again. Love hurt Bodie and protective/avenging Doyle. I can imagine he'd be quite nasty if you hurt the ones he loves. I also love your Bodie's need to be needed.
