I’ve seen him every shade of scarlet.

Scarlet when facing off with Cowley; his anger spitting forth like Vesuvius erupting. Not a pretty sight and not one I’d like to face anytime soon.

Scarlet when hit by Mayli’s bullet, spilling his precious lifeblood onto his ratty tee-shirt; uncaring of his vital, healthy body. Death respects no one.

But he still hasn’t been as scarlet as he is now.

“No way, Bodie. Please don’t make me.”

I grin. No way is he gonna wrangle out of this.

“Come on Ray. It’s only a thong.”

“Yeah, but with a bloody elephant’s trunk!”
