Oh, I've only dropped in over at LoM for a little nibble just recently - usually hang out only around these Pros parts, with the occasional soupçon of Due South - so we haven't "met", I just recognised the name. Running away screaming? Noooo - just treading warily! *g*

Well I have no (immediate) plans to put Bodie in a dog collar and Doyle in a nun's habit if that makes you tread less warily... *eg*

BK is Bistokids and I think she's been hanging around here for a quite a while -- look at her user name! I also think Hambelandjemima has been here for a while too. If you like LoM stories look them both up in the LI'73 com memories. They're both excellent writers in any fandom they touch.

Didn't realise BK = Bistokids ::blush:: - but I've seen Hambel's name - we are just so fortunate to have all these talented people around! I love that very much about the internet fandom world, that it gives us all a tool with which to share stories and pics etc. for the sheer love of it, without having to make it a commercial transaction - and people are so generous with their time and talent. It's one of the very few arenas in which people can do this relatively easily - not to mention people like Linux programmers, of course - and that's just so great! Oops, stopping waffling now ... see you!

I've been a Pros fan for years, but I've only just started reading the fan fiction and these two drabbles represent all of my Pros writing so far...

Erm, rambling a bit, sorry. What I meant to say is, from what I've read so far, the Pros fandom seems pretty crack! free, so I expect to leave most of my top crack ideas in LoM land. Same goes for the comic smut, or smut-with-a-punchline. Different strokes for different folks... Erm... *sniggers*

Just kidding (well, mostly!*g*) You're right, it isn't a very crack-y place - though there are a few non-crack stories that get into all sorts of areas, including DS and BDSM. I can only remember having seen two (one in each "direction" for B&D) that I really feel work - of course sod's law would have it that I can't remember the title of either one at the moment - one has Bodie needing it in order to deal with some demons from the past, and Doyle supplying it in a very safe, gentle and loving context with no actual damage contemplated let alone involved (which I must admit is how I like it for these guys!); the other is a longer, plotty tale in which Bodie's talents as a dominant sort of bloke (!) are revealed by an accidental encounter while on an op - some exploration is involved - but it's again very careful and loving, and by no means the core of their relationship. Bother, I really can't think of those titles. Thank goodness for Prosfinder!

I don't normally do B&D stories per se -- the nun's bit was done by request for a friends and is more cracky than anything. :D More than anything, I meant I cast off my angst monkeys a couple of years ago and now write mainly funny-smut, which I don't see much of around here. :D

I owe so many stories and sequels right now *sob* Drabbling worked really well for the five minutes at a time my back felt like sitting at the computer. But, we'll see... *bunnies are multiplying* When I think about writing this I see angst fest and remember I'd sort of sworn off that kind of thing...

Again, thank you! :D I've written in a handful of fandoms and I'm currently active in Life on Mars.

I've loved the Pros for years, but never thought about reading/writing fan fiction for them. It was acquiring the DVDs recently and then reading the Pros work of fellow LoMers, bistokids and hambelandjemima that got me thinking what an oversight this has been on my part.
