I know syrup or lemons and sugar are traditional with pancakes, but sadly I'm all out - it was either the lads with peanut butter or honey:

I admit I've never heard of lemon and sugar with pancakes. Wait, I don't like pancakes anyway so it doesn't matter! LOL!

Thanks babe - it's much brighter than I usually manage; I must have had a funny turn.

Lemon and sugar with pancakes is the traditional English way of serving them, or with golden syrup, which is okay, but too sweet and sticky for me. I'm not wildly keen on pancakes, but it's fun to do a couple of times a year. The mess is going to be hellish to clean up though - oops!
