Discovered in a Marathon - Story Rec: "Time and Motion" by Jane

Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to write a story of my own - but I did want to "run"! So here is a story I found all about Doyle training, running, competing, the lads "first time" and an undercover for Bodie that goes wrong and it takes the run of Ray's life to save him.



There is probably more information on training and diet and racing than most people want to know but it is a nice long read for a rainy Saturday afternoon. I hope you will enjoy it!

Thank you! I'd forgotten all about this one, but I remember enjoying it hugely. I'll have to go back and read it tomorrow - which is as close as I'll get to running in the London marathon *g*

I've read this! And although for me there's a bit of suspension of belief with the training part, I really like this story.

Glad you liked the story. And yeah - a bit too much detail and maybe a stretch on the training bits. My husband was a distance runner in high school and college (many days and pounds ago!) I don't think his coach would've agreed with Ray's training regimen!
