Just a Little Light: or, In Which Bodie is as Mighty as a Flower
This vid features the song "Just a Little Light" by The Grateful Dead.
I am not a particular fan of The Grateful Dead, but the moment I heard this song, I wanted to make it into a fanvid. And I thought the vid would be a fitting contribution to our celebration of the returning light, as well as our observance of gift-giving festivals.

This vid offers captions, but please note that you can turn them off (and on) using YouTube's video controls. You can also read the lyrics (ad free) on this page.
Thank you to my betawatcher, She-Who-Elected-Not-to-Be-Named, for her invaluable feedback. All remaining bad creative choices are mine. (Which seems obvious, but people always say something like that.)
Be aware that I removed both the song's bridge and its third verse for this vid. You can hear the whole song on YouTube.

Date: 2020-12-16 10:42 am (UTC)Is Flowblade solely for use with Linux? I haven't made any songvids for years, mainly because Windows Movie Maker drives me up the wall!

Date: 2020-12-16 08:07 pm (UTC)I've got a little list of songs that I keep thinking would make good songvids but the thought of Movie Maker puts me off. You never know though, maybe I'll find an alternative program and will finally get to add to my rather meagre total of Pros songvids so far completed! *g*
